Our Story
The Hong Maple is a conduit between the passions of Chinese immigrant families and organizations, and the needs of the communities – making Canada a better place to live, work, learn and grow. Our mission is to bridge the communities with diverse cultures and different backgrounds and bring people together. We strive to build better and vibrant communities, to eliminate racial discrimination and prejudice and to create equality of opportunity. We support individuals, women, families and corporations who come from all walks of life, diverse cultural and economic backgrounds and interests but have one thing in common that is a desire to make a difference today and leave a legacy tomorrow for the society to be part of a smart & caring.
Founded in 2006, the Hong Maple Volunteer Team has been connecting individuals, new immigrants, women, families and organizations. We have organized and gotten involved in many events and programs to support and serve the community residents, women and diverse groups or organizations. The Hong Maple Foundation, as a registered non-profit organization in Canadian government, has had over 10 years of experience in organizing events and programs, in community services and development, and in culture exchange and social communication studies. We promote diversity, inclusion, respect and trust. We advocate safe society, peaceful world and joyous life. Let's work together to make the world a better place to live. |
